Blacktown Girls High School is an inclusive school with both academically selective students and local comprehensive students, located in Blacktown, New South Wales. The client was working on a complete refurbishment/rebuild of an old classroom into a modern robotics room. For lighting, they wanted an ambience suitable for the new room’s unique design, with enough light output to get the best effect.
With this in mind, we custom built lighting for this project with Vibe strip lighting and track lighting. We provided 17m of 2m Black Track and 23 Vibe 20W LED Black Single Circuit Track Heads to form a U-shape around the room. We also used 38m of 36W Cool White, Custom Cut and Assembled, Suspended Strip Lighting housed in Aluminium Profile to zig-zag across the edges of the track lighting to emphasise the striking architectural space .
The client was incredibly impressed with our lighting instalment, which not only provides enough light output in the large space, but also enhances the contemporary look of the new room.
